ykfinalsiteexhibitwarriors061416sm-e1469464040974Billings TrailNet is proud to announce that we have set a goal to raise at least $11,500 toward building a developed trail connection from the existing Swords Rimrock Park trail to Yellowstone Kelly’s Interpretive Site.

Yellowstone Kelly’s gravesite sits atop the rims, just off the Chief Black Otter Trail near Swords Rimrock Park.  The gravesite, which is nearly unidentifiable with weeds and no markings, will be under renovation with a beautiful interpretive site to showcase the gravesite of this veteran, scout and warrior from the late 1800’s, who was buried here in 1930.

Although trails exist around the site, there is no trail connection directly to it.  To make the connection, the Yellowstone Kelly’s Interpretive Site committee needs to raise at least $22,000 and we are inviting you to make your end-of-year gift to this valuable trail connection.

We are challenging our members and everyone from the public to donate toward this project!

You can donate easily and securely from your mobile phone by texting the words “Give yktrail” to the dedicated number, 406-204-2719, or securely online by following this link. When you are prompted to give to the trail projects, select “Yellowstone Kelly Trail Connection.”  Follow the prompts and our secure Text2Give app will ask for your credit card information to complete the donation.

Thank you for making this tax-deductible gift!
