Update #1

On Wednesday, July 22, City of Billings Planning & Community Services hosted an informational session at the library to present and receive public feedback on a few new potential trail connectors. The Trails for All Feasibility Study is evaluating three different trail connections:

1. Aronson Avenue to Annandale Road (pictured above)
2. Downtown to Heights (bottom left)
3. Alkali Creek Trail (bottom right)

Billings Parks and Recreation completed the of Amend Park Trail Connector mid-July. 

Update #3

City Engineer Mac Fogelsong gave a presentation on the W.O. 26-11: Monad Road Reconstruction Update, which would potentially include a multi-model path on one side and a sidewalk on the other. For more information on this project, click here. 

Update #4

City Planning also gave a presentation on the Economic and Financial Analysis of Complete Streets at City Council and to the County Commissioners.  On July 28, 2026, the County Commissioners voted against moving forward with the analysis.
