The wait is almost over… Ales for Trails is this week! Whether you’re attending for the first time or it’s become one of your favorite summer traditions, a little planning can help you make the most of your evening.
Here are a few tips to help you arrive prepared and ready to enjoy one of Billings TrailNet’s biggest events of the year.
Have Your Ticket Ready
If you haven’t purchased your ticket yet, now’s the time! Having your ticket ready before you arrive will help make check-in quick and easy so you can spend more time enjoying everything the event has to offer.
Dress for Comfort
Ales for Trails is an outdoor event, so comfortable shoes are a must. You’ll be walking between vendors, visiting food trucks, playing games, and enjoying live entertainment throughout the evening.
Check the weather forecast before you head out, and consider bringing a light jacket if the evening cools down.
Come Hungry
One of the best parts of Ales for Trails is the variety of local food available throughout the event. Whether you’re craving something savory, sweet, or somewhere in between, there’s something for everyone.
Pace Yourself and Stay Hydrated
With many local and regional breweries and beverage vendors participating, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to try something new.
Remember to drink water throughout the evening, eat before (and during) the event, and enjoy everything responsibly. Staying hydrated will help you feel your best while making the most of the experience.
Plan Your Ride Home
Before you head to the event, make a plan for getting home safely. Consider using a designated driver, rideshare service, or another safe transportation option.
If you’re close enough, walking or biking to the event can also be a great way to enjoy the evening while supporting Billings TrailNet’s mission of creating a more connected community. If you bike, don’t forget your lock!
More Than Just a Great Night Out
Every ticket purchased helps support Billings TrailNet’s mission to advocate for and improve trails throughout our community. By attending Ales for Trails, you’re helping invest in projects that make Billings a healthier, more connected place to live, work, and explore.
Thank you for supporting our trails, we can’t wait to celebrate with you! See you at Ales for Trails!
Trail Tip of the Week
Be prepared before you hit the trail, or the event! Whether you’re walking, biking, or spending the evening outdoors, bring a reusable water bottle, wear comfortable shoes, and plan ahead for a safe trip home. A little preparation goes a long way toward making your adventure enjoyable.
