Billings TrailNet and Rimrock Subaru have teamed up to raise money for local trails at the Winter Wheel Out celebration to be held at Rimrock Subaru on Feb. 25, 2017. The family-friendly celebration begins at 5:30 p.m. with an optional bike ride and will feature live music, local beer, food trucks, a silent auction, and a raffle for multiple prizes.

Billings TrailNet is an active force in the Billings community and has given more than $375,000 to building the local trail system since 2004. Since December 2016, dedicated Billings TrailNet members and supporters held a bike drive, refurbished used bikes and gave more than 30 to students at McKinley Elementary School. The group also raised $23,000 for a new trail between Swords Rimrock Park and the Yellowstone Kelly interpretive site, which is planned to be built this summer.

A supporter of trails and the active outdoor lifestyle, Rimrock Subaru is hosting the Winter Wheel Out in honor of the new 2017 Subaru Impreza “More 2 Love” rollout. Attendees will be some of the first to view the new model and may test drive the car during the evening.

Billings TrailNet is proud to partner with Rimrock Subaru to raise funds, which will go directly to the development of local trail infrastructure.

The celebration will begin at 6 p.m. with live music, a selection of local beer, and food available for purchase from Big Guy Barbecue and Sandee’s. There will be opportunities to win Ray-Ban sunglasses, Marmot backpacks, Klean Kanteen water bottles, headphones and for dog lovers, a Big Shrimpy Versa Seat Cover for driving days.

To enter, contestants can make a donation or purchase a Billings TrailNet membership. Individual Billings TrailNet memberships are $25. Participants will receive multiple tickets to enter for each prize.

The bicycle ride will leave from Rimrock Subaru and head east on Monad Road to 19th St., loop north to Lewis, then head west to Lillis Park and will utilize the bike path to return south to Monad and end back at Rimrock Subaru.

Rimrock Subaru is located at 324 S. 24th St. W. in Billings. A detailed video about the event is available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r8RJr2u2WF0&feature=youtu.be
