23734024714_79489d0e79_oDuring the past 10 years, our city has built more than 44 miles of multiuse trails. We have a great start, and much of the progress is due to funding from the Federal government that no longer exists. Billings TrailNet was founded more than a decade ago to provide a match for those funds, and we have given more than $350,000 to build much of what we have now.

15326598_325265434526779_1447854942964155013_nWhy do we need members?  Our city can continue to build some trails as new roads (where space is available) are built or existing ones are overhauled. But the momentum we had has slowed without CTEP funding.  City Engineering must go before City Council for approval when they propose to build trails on a new or resurfaced road, and your support (via emailing your council member or your presence at the meeting) is important. Billings TrailNet membership shows our city that every person who has signed up to be a member appreciates and expects a good trail system in our city!

Why do we need annual donations from Lifetime Members?  Without an ability to provide some funds for trail connectors and trails that are not on the city’s CIP, building our trail system will slow.  Billings TrailNet advocates for critical trail connections and can provide money to put toward the building and maintenance of those trails.

maePlus, we have fun together!

To continue to build and connect our trails, it takes members in numbers!  Your membership means everything.

Memberships and donations are tax-deductible. Please make a year-end gift!

Please take this opportunity to join Billings TrailNet now or renew your membership donation!
