HB 267 requires drivers to provide a minimum of 3′ when driving 35mph or slower and a minimum of 5′ when driving over 35mph. It was voted down by a 24-26 vote yesterday in the Senate.
We have heard that two Senators will reintroduce the bill today, and that first action needs to pass by a majority. Then the vote ON the bill will be considered for a vote.
