Tails for Trails is a unique trail ride around Zoo Montana this July 27, 2019 at 9:00 am. While bicycles are not normally allowed on the trails throughout the zoo, Fuller Family Medicine, Zoo Montana, The Bike Shop, Beartooth Design and Billings TrailNet are teaming up to give children the opportunity to tour the place by bicycle– all in the name of celebrating Billings’ entire trail network.  This family-friendly, free event at ZooMontana is open to children between the ages of three and 10, and Brad Fuller and his family will start the ride.

Tails for Trails will feature two trail rides: a 0.8 mile loop for children who are comfortable riding their bicycles without an adult; and a 0.2 mile short ride for younger children who need some assistance from their parents.

Tails for Trails is sponsored by Ales for Trails Title Sponsor, Fuller Family Medicine, and other sponsors include Beartooth Design, The Bike Shop, ZooMontana, Big Shrimpy Dog Beds and Hot 101.9.  Children who participate in the ride will be entered to win several exciting prizes including a new children’s bike, a dog bed and a back door family pass at ZooMontana.

Families are encouraged to register for the drawing at The Bike Shop on Grand Avenue for an extra raffle ticket, which will double their chances to win. This offer for an additional raffle entry at The Bike Shop takes place today through Friday, July 26, 2019.

Children must have a helmet to ride and parents or legal guardians must be present to register their children (with liability waiver) the day of the ride at Zoo Montana on July 27, 2019, between 8:30 and 9:00 am.

Billings TrailNet is proud to partner with its sponsors to celebrate healthy, active lifestyles for children and continues to advocate for a safe community for cycling, which includes connected trails.

For more information about Tails for Trails please contact Billings TrailNet’s Executive Director, Kristi Drake at kristi@billingstrailnet.org, or The Bike Shop at 652-1202.
