Kathy James has been a long time supporter and advocate for Billings TrailNet, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome Kathy to the team.

Kathy has lived in Billings since 1981. She was raised on a farm near Cascade, Montana and attended St. Patrick School of Nursing in Missoula. She and her late husband Mike Webster raised 4 children who are now adults. Kathy married Doug James in 2005. Their combined family consists of 6 children, their 5 spouses and 5 beautiful grandchildren.

Kathy retired after 34 years of service as a Registered Nurse and Call Center Manager at a local hospital. She managed the ASK-A-NURSE program and the hospital switchboard for 10 years. Kathy plays the piano at St. Pius X church, is a Peer Coordinator for CASA and serves on the Make-A-Wish Montana Board of Directors. She enjoys reading, traveling and walking and biking the trails in Billings and other cities. Kathy is looking forward to volunteering to help improve existing trails and add to the wonderful walking and biking trails in the Billings area.
