The Billings community submitted three applications to the Recreational Trails Program Grant from Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks. The applications include proposals for a double-vault toilet at Shiloh Conservation Area from the City of Billings, single track trails from Pedal United, and a trail at Joel’s Pond from Yellowstone River Parks Association. To provide comment on these projects, go to http://stateparks.mt.gov/news/publicNotices/rtp/pn_0005.html. The comment period is open until Saturday, March 9 at 5:00 p.m.

Also last year, Billings submitted three applications and was awarded one- for the Skyline Trail. We appreciate the funding RTP provides for trail projects around the state.
