Billings TrailNet is thrilled to feature Poly’s Place Coffee as our Corporate Member Spotlight this month! Nestled right off Poly Drive, this retro-chic neighborhood café is more than just a coffee shop—it’s a hub for community, creativity, and connection. And on Thursday, May 29 at 6:00 p.m., they’re hosting a special event for us: Women Trailblazer Trivia Night!

Brewing Happiness, Building Trails

Owned by a couple who are passionate about trails, Billings, and bikes, Poly’s Place at 1704 Poly Dr and 17th St isn’t just supporting Billings TrailNet—they live our mission every day. When asked why Diane and Scott Morledge-Hampton chose to become a corporate member, Diane’s answer was simple:

“My husband and I love the trails. We love that Billings has them, and we want to see the system continue to grow. Trails are so good for so many reasons—getting outside, bringing people to our community, and making it a better place to live.”

It’s that kind of passion that makes Poly’s Place a perfect partner. Their values align beautifully with Billings TrailNet’s mission to promote a complete, community-wide trail system, and they see firsthand how it benefits both their lives and their business.

“I bike on Poly all the time—and we have customers who bike right to us! That bike lane has had an impact.”

A Trail Close to the Heart

When asked about their favorite trail, the answer was deeply personal: the Inner Belt Loop, now called the “Skyway Drive Trail.”

“It runs through my grandfather’s land—he bought it in the 1930s. Now, families from all over Billings can hike, picnic, and explore it. It’s beautiful. The engineering was so well done.”

This connection to the land and the joy of sharing it with others is central to what Poly’s Place is all about: making people feel welcome and helping them create lasting memories.

Join Us for Trivia & a Trail-Inspired Auction! 🧺🌸

On May 29, Poly’s Place will host Women Trailblazer Trivia Night—an evening full of fun, facts, and fantastic community energy. Diane will be participating, and we’ll be auctioning a truly special item: a bike handlebar basket filled with silk flowers, generously designed by Gainan’s Flowers. It’s a perfect way to get excited for our upcoming Tour de Fleur ride on Saturday, June 7.

Why We Love Poly’s Place

Poly’s Place isn’t just a coffee shop—it’s a welcoming space where trails, neighborhoods, and good vibes meet. They’ve cultivated a menu full of gluten-free and dairy-free options, a diverse bakery selection, and a uniquely mid-century-modern atmosphere that brings smiles to every guest.

“We love seeing people’s reactions when they come in—it makes our day. And we love gathering people together, whether it’s for a cup of coffee or an event.”

Whether you’re walking, biking, or just driving by, stop in to experience the joy and community spirit of Poly’s Place. You’ll leave with a full heart—and maybe a delicious pastry too.
