SB 249 would have generally revised transportation laws related to bicycling, to require vehicles to pass  was tabled in Senate Finance and Claims Committee on February 21; however, Bike Walk Montana has followed up with Billings legislators Dennis Lentz, Terry Moore and Barry Usher, asking if there is there some way we can create a bill that would improve bike safety as well as meet their concerns.

It is hoped that the senators will respond respectfully and consider the safety of all road users.
