With warmer weather and the absence of ice and slush on the roads, I’ve been back on my beloved bike, pedaling all over town for work.  The roads are clear, but many of the bike lanes are full of gravel, as in this photo taken on the corner of 32nd and Monad.  I learned that the city is planning to clear the bike lanes soon; they just have to give our snow plow operators (the same people who operate street sweepers) some time off, after several weeks of nonstop snow and ice clearing.

Just so you know… it IS in the plan and in the meantime, take corners slowly!
