Billings TrailNet’s mission is to promote a complete, community-wide trail system. It is our job to raise funds to build trails and thus, our Board of Directors supports policies that fund trails to improve our community.
As a non-profit, Billings TrailNet relies heavily on fundraising and donations to continue to build trails in the Billings Community. Keep an eye out for our fundraising events throughout the year, including Ales for Trails, for your opportunity to support your local trail system. To date Billings TrailNet has raised $550,000 through donations and fundraising events and donated $375,000 to build trails in Billings! With your help these numbers will continue to climb! Please donate by visiting our donation page or by contacting Kristi Drake at Kristi@billingstrailnet.org.
Billings TrailNet, its members, and the board of directors are constantly advocating for policies that improve the biking and walking infrastructure in Billings.
Billings TrailNet hosts multiple events throughout the year to help raise money and spread awareness about the need for a more complete trail system. Some of our events are “members only” events to give back to those that have made the commitment to support Billings TrailNet, however many of our events are open to the public and we love to see new faces there. our events vary from group rides and safety classes to pint nights and wine rides with our largest fundraising event being Ales for Trails. Check out our upcoming events section to find out more!
Becoming a member of Billings TrailNet is great for you and great for us. Becoming a member requires a one-time, tax deductible, donation of $25 and you are a member for life. Members get to enjoy our “members only” events such as bike movies, group rides, and advocacy lunch & learn meetings. Members will also have many opportunities to volunteer and advocate for policies that affect the biking and walking infrastructure in Billings. Although your one-time donation guarantees your membership for life, we offer the opportunity to “renew” your membership every year to urge our members to continue their support for our cause. This renewal can be made at anytime during the year but if you renew your membership at Ales for Trails you will receive a free Ales for Trails silipint glass.
