The Billings community came out in full force this past weekend for a celebration of safe, connected trails and the joy of cycling. Nearly 40 riders of all ages joined the event, pedaling together on a scenic route designed to highlight key trail connections and ongoing improvements. From young kids on training wheels to seasoned cyclists, participants rode in support of expanding safe access for biking across the city.

Alongside the riders, more than 20 volunteers, vendors, and staff members contributed to the event’s success—helping with flower decorating and guiding the route as course guards. Local partners provided refreshments, bike tune-ups, and encouragement along the way. The event not only showcased the power of community collaboration, but also emphasized the need for continued investment in Billings’ trail system.

With strong participation, positive energy, and clear enthusiasm for future rides, this cycling event proved once again that when it comes to creating a more bike-friendly city, Billings is ready to roll.
