Congratulations to the City of Billings!

We recently adopted the 2017 update to the Billings Area Bikeway and Trail Master Plan.

Through multiple steering committee meetings, gathering public input, and review by the city’s Policy Coordinating Committee, Billings City Council and our County Commissioners, the plan was adopted.

Two exciting developments in this plan include short-term projects (likely candidates which could be completed within 5-10 years) and two bicycle boulevards.

The Executive Summary identifies 11 projects which could begin as early as next year and may be completed within 10 years.

Two Bicycle Boulevards named in the Summary will make travel between the West End and downtown much safer for bicyclists.
