Mayor Tom Hanel has declared the month of May bike month, and to celebrate, Billings TrailNet, along with many other organizations, are offering fun bicycling events.

Billings TrailNet kicked off bike month with the Tour de Fleur April 30. Monday, May 8  Billings TrailNet hosted a membership event at Art House Cinema and Pub.  People can also sign up for the Billings Commuter Challenge and join our team!

This Friday, May 19 is Bike to Work Day, where we invite everyone riding a bike to stop by one of the following locations for a free breakfast, from 7:30-9:00 am.

  • Billings Clinic – 9th Ave. N between 27th and 28th under the sky bridge
  • Lewis and Division
  • 1st Ave. S. and S. 28th (In the case of construction we will have a sandwich board at the location to let active commuters know if the location has moved)
  • North Park – 6th Ave. North in front of North Park

The Commuter Challenge encourages people to ride, walk or bus during the month of May.

We thank Mayor Hanel and City Council for this important proclamation, and invite them to join us for breakfast Friday, May 19, 2017!
