For more than 50 years, The Spoke Shop has been a cornerstone of Billings’ cycling community. Whether helping a new rider find their first bike, fine-tuning a seasoned cyclist’s ride, or leading group rides that bring people together, The Spoke Shop has always been about more than just bikes. It’s also about building community.
Now, with a newly remodeled service center, owner Dean Cromwell and his team are taking their commitment to riders even further.
Investing in Better Service for Billings Riders
The Spoke Shop’s remodeled service center reflects decades of experience and a continued investment in the local cycling community. The updated space allows their team to provide faster turnaround times, more precise tune-ups, and an improved experience for riders of all levels.

Their service offerings start at $100 for a Level 1 Tune-Up, ensuring bikes are safe, smooth, and ready for the miles ahead. As an added benefit, active Billings TrailNet members will receive a service discount through March 31.
This investment ensures riders have access to reliable, professional service to keep them confidently rolling.
How Local Shops Support the Community
Local bike shops play an essential role in supporting safe, accessible trail systems. They help riders stay equipped, informed, and connected, and they serve as gathering places where the cycling community grows stronger.
The Spoke Shop has proudly supported Billings TrailNet for nearly 15 years as a sponsor, helping fund trail improvements, advocacy efforts, and community programs benefiting riders throughout Billings. Their long-standing partnership reflects a shared belief in the importance of trails as tools for recreation, quality of life, transportation, and community connection.
Bringing Riders Together Through Group Rides
Beyond the service center, The Spoke Shop continues to foster community through local group rides welcoming riders of all experience levels. These rides provide opportunities for people to explore Billings’ trail system, meet fellow cyclists, and build confidence on two wheels.
Check out group ride listings on our events calendar and up-to-date information on their Facebook page. Every ride is open to all levels, but if you are looking for an easier group ride, try Saturday mornings.
Supporting Trails, Supporting Billings
Billings TrailNet is grateful for partners like The Spoke Shop, whose decades-long commitment to cycling and nearly 15 years of sponsorship have helped strengthen Billings’ trail system and cycling culture.
And be sure to take advantage of the service center discount if you are an active member! If you do not receive the code via email, email Kristy at khalderman@billingstrailnet.org.
