On Wednesday, September 10, First Interstate Bank once again showed its commitment to community by closing all branches at noon for its annual companywide Volunteer Day. Across the region, 3,500 employees stepped up to support local nonprofits and causes, including a team of seven staff here in Billings who joined forces with Billings TrailNet and City Council candidate Amy Aguirre to pick up shattered glass along the Rims near the Skyline Trail. Thanks to Bright n’ Beautiful for donating supplies, Billings Parks and Recreation for lending brooms and shovels, and Sunshine Express for providing refreshments and an after-party. And of course, a big thank you to First Interstate Bank for hosting this day of service and helping keep our trails and community spaces clean, safe, and welcoming.
