Heart & Sole Run – June 15, 2019

Make your Fathers’ Day celebration a weekend to remember!
Save the date June 15, 2019 for our 40th Annual Heart & Sole Race in Billings, MT. The proceeds go to improving the Billings trail system through Billings TrailNet and the YMCA Annual Campaign.

Trailblazing Celebration – July 13, 2019

Billings TrailNet’s unveiling of the newest portion of its Skyline Trail is set to take place on July 13, 2019. Celebrate the beginning of a new trail along the rims of Billings and enjoy live music, food trucks, e-bike demos, a fun run, an appearance by Mayor Bill Cole and Chaquille Cozart and Alex Weiman as the event’s MCs. The Trailblazing Event will take place at Zimmerman Park 11 a.m.
Come celebrate the newest segment of the Skyline Trail with food, music, and entertainment!

Quality of Life Run – August 10, 2019

All funds raised from the 2019 Quality of Life Run will directly benefit Billings TrailNet to support fundraising efforts for the construction of a 730 foot key segment of currently unconnected trail.
This annual run features two courses — a 2-mile and a 5-mile route. The 5 mile route will begin at 8:00 am with the 2 mile starting at 8:15.

Ales for Trails – September 6, 2019

Billings TrailNet will celebrate its 18th Anniversary of starting “the best party in Billings,” Ales for Trails, on Friday, September 6, 2019 from 5 p.m. – 10 p.m. at Zoo Montana. You won’t want to miss this brewfest which will feature 50 microbrews as well as live music. Tickets are on sale online here!

Annual Events


27801704745_6ca52c48cf_zAnnual Meeting – Learn about what Billings TrailNet has accomplished in the past year and where we are headed. The Annual Meeting usually takes place in summertime at the Billings Public Library.





Rims to River Race

Yellowstone RimRunners sponsored this run along our multiuse trail system, from the scenic rims at Swords Park along the trail to historic Coulson Park on the majestic and wild Yellowstone River.
Runners had the option of an 8K run or a 15K (roughly 5 or 10 mile) run. All participants received a t-shirt and all finishers will receive a finisher medal.
Whether you run, walk, push a stroller or an assistive mobility device, join in the fun and register today!


Tour de Fleur – Celebrate women, flowers and the joy of bicycling26818552495_75bf354448_z (1) by decorating your bike with flowers and joining new and seasoned female bike riders at this fun community bike ride.

COMMUTER CHALLENGE 2 COLORBillings Commuter Challenge – form a team with coworkers, friends or family and bike, walk, or bus to work errands and school. Those who log their trips online are eligible for discounts and free stuff around town and have a chance to win prizes.
